FROM THE MINISTER’S DESK
Jesus said, “And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20) As one year closes and a new year begins I find a poem by British poet Minnie Louise Haskins titled “God Knows” a blessing and inspiration. Her poem was made famous in 1939 when England’s King George VI read a portion of it as part of his Christmas radio broadcast. I commend this portion of her poem to you as we look forward to the year 2024, confident in the truth that our Lord goes the way before us.
“I said to the man who stood at the Gate of the Year.
Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown.
And he replied, ‘Go out into the darkness, and put your hand into the hand of God.’
That shall be to you better than light, and safer than a known way.”
SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP 10:00 A.M.

This Sunday’s Scripture readings are Isaiah 61:10-62:3, Galatians 4:3-7 and Luke 2:22-40. You can also find a daily scripture message at the top of our website.
