FROM THE MINISTER’S DESK
Our guest preacher this Sunday will be Rev. Dr. Victor Shepherd.  Dr. Shepherd is Professor Fellow on the core faculty of Wycliffe College at the University of Toronto. Ordained in 1970 Victor has served pastorates in New Brunswick and Ontario. He and his wife Maureen reside in Streetsville, Ontario.
 
WORSHIP EXCHANGE WITH
BETHESDA LUTHERAN CHURCH
Annually, Central United Church and Bethesda Lutheran Church participate in a worship exchange. Last year it was virtual, this year both in-person and virtual are offered. This Sunday July 25th, Central United will welcome members from Bethesda Lutheran and on Sunday, Aug. 1st, Central will join in worship at Bethesda Lutheran, 20 Union Street, Unionville at 10:30 am. A recorded service will be available and posted on Bethesda’s Facebook page for those unable to attend in person. Please keep in mind that there will be no worship service at Central United on Sunday, August 1st.
IN-PERSON WORSHIP
We have now moved into Step 3 of the “RoadMap to Reopen”. In this new phase there are no percentage capacity limits, but physical distancing and masks are still required. To view the guidelines at Central United, please click here.

Please come and join the Thursday prayer meeting tonight at 7:00 pm. After the prayer time we have some time for fellowship to allow us to catch up with each other a little. The meeting is held using the Zoom technology. Please join 10 minutes before the 7:00 PM start time.

We suggest, for joining the live stream, that you tune in early. You are encouraged to have your bible handy and please note that the text of this Sunday’s Sermon will be available on our Church website prior to Service time. This Sunday’s Scripture readings are Ephesians 1:15-23 and John 14:1-6. You can also find a daily scripture message at the top of our website.

FAMILY NEWS
A Memorial Service for Isobel Heighway will take place at Central United Church this Saturday, July 24th and 1:00 pm. The family welcomes donations to a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.

Should you become aware of any illness, bereavement, hospitalization, etc., among people of our church, please notify the church office as soon as possible.
