FROM THE MINISTER’S DESK

This Sunday our Guest Minister will be Reverend Dr. Andrew Stirling. Rev. Stirling is the Ambassador for the Canadian Bible Society. Prior to that appointment in 2022, he served as the Senior Minister of the historic Timothy Eaton Memorial United Church in Toronto from 1998 to 2021. Born in the UK, he received his education in England, Bermuda, Canada and South Africa. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Comparative African Government and Law from the University of Cape Town (South Africa), a Master of Divinity from the Atlantic School of Theology (Halifax, Nova Scotia) and a Doctor of Ministry in preaching from Acadia Divinity College (Wolfville, Nova Scotia).

WORSHIP EXCHANGE WITH

BETHESDA LUTHERAN CHURCH

Annually, Central United Church and Bethesda Lutheran Church participate in a worship exchange. This Sunday July 30^th, Central United will welcome members from Bethesda Lutheran and on Sunday, August 6^th, Central will join in worship at Bethesda Lutheran, 20 Union Street, Unionville at 10:30 am. Please keep in mind that there will be no worship or livestreamed service at Central United on Sunday, August 6^th.

SUNDAY WORSHIP 10:00 A.M.

Central United Church welcomes you to join our Worship Service Sunday mornings at 10:00 am. In worship we proclaim our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour; God’s word is read and preached, sacraments celebrated, faith sung and prayers offered.

Sunday services are also livestreamed (and recorded) through the Church website or you can join here. A copy of the bulletin for this Sunday’s Service is attached here. This Sunday we will be celebrating the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
