FROM THE MINISTER’S DESK
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, just as he chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before him in love. (Ephesians 1:3-4) From all eternity God has purposed to have a people for himself. God chose not to be without us though he needs nothing from us to be complete. It tells me, among other things, that I am not an accident of a mindless emerging process. Rather, my life—the fact that I am a living breathing human in this world—was something God saw and purposed from all eternity. “Who is the human that you are mindful of them,” marvels the Psalmist. Indeed! But that God is mindful of us is glory for us.

Central United Church welcomes you to join our Worship Service Sunday mornings at 10:00 am. In worship we proclaim our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour; God’s word is read and preached, sacraments celebrated, faith sung and prayers offered.
