A few reminders for this week Mar. 23 – Mar. 29, 2020

FROM THE MINISTER'S DESK

“Hope in the Lord!, writes the Psalmist, “For with the Lord there is steadfast love, and with him is great power to redeem.” (Psalm 130:7) God is ever calling us to look to him for hope. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.” (John 11:25-26) Jesus promises that he will keep us, preserve us, through anything we face in this life. These portions of scripture are appointed to be read in our worship this coming Sunday. In all the turmoil we face the word of God points us to find our balance in the steadfast love of God. As we take prudent steps to do our part to halt the spread of disease, remember our medical professionals in prayer. Thank you for reaching out to one another; your offerings of a word of cheer, a note of joy, and a prayer of faith to one another are a blessing. Please know that I remain available for urgent pastoral care needs.
