A few reminders for this week Sept. 5 to Sept. 11, 2022

FROM THE MINISTER’S DESK

This week I was sent pictures of grandchildren ready to go on the first day of another school year. Here is what I want each of them to know as they head to school; to apply yourself to the work of learning is to obey God, it is part of what it means to love God with all our minds. Humans were given the task of caring for the world and our lives within that world. There is much to be learned in order to fulfil this task God has given us. In my conversations with grandchildren they expressed excitement about the first day of school and were energized for the year ahead. I know that it is hard to maintain first day motivation. Keep this in mind about God’s love for you. Loving God with all our minds arises out of relationship with Him. To love God with all our minds awakens the sleeping talents God has given us and will call from us what we did not know was within. May God bless students in their studies.
