Rev. Dr. James R. Clubine

Reverend Doctor James Clubine, the Minister of Worship and Pastoral Care, joined the ministry team at Central United Church in 2003. His pastoral work is guided by his mission; ‘to help people fall in love with God who is in love with them’. In addition to over 20 years of pastoral experience, James also established a practice in leadership development consulting, specializing in coaching and life leadership workshops. He holds masters degrees in Divinity, Theology and Religious Education and as well as a doctorate in Theology.

Sarah Wyse

Sarah Wyse, the Director of Music Ministry, joined the ministry team at Central United Church in 2014. Her goal is to lead all into a closer experience with God through music.  She directs the choir and openly invites participation during both Easter and Christmas seasons.  You will also see her on the piano on Sundays.  She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Toronto and a Master of Theological Studies from Tyndale Seminary (previously Ontario Theological Seminary).  In her free time, she enjoys being spontaneous in doing anything that interests her, and to spend time with her husband Ron. She is blessed with 2 adult children Sean and Rosie.

Rev. Dr. Christina Ng

Reverend Doctor Christina Ng, Leader of Christian Education and Strategic Plans Coordinator, joined Central United Church’s ministry team in 2024. An ordained Baptist minister with 20 years of pastoral experience, she has accompanied individuals of all ages and diverse backgrounds on their journeys, listening and discerning the presence of God in their stories. Christina holds a Master of Divinity from Tyndale Seminary in Toronto and a Doctor of Ministry specializing in Spiritual Direction from Fuller Theological Seminary in California. She met her lifelong partner, Anthony Cheung, during their seminary studies at Tyndale, and together they have grown and supported each other in ministry. Both enjoy sun vacations, engaging conversations over coffee, and sharing meals with others.
