Our Turkey Dinner is this Saturday and we look forward to seeing many of you there!  Thanks to all those who have volunteered to help make this event happen.  Please note that turkeys can be picked up on Friday between 4 and 6 p.m. at the church and desserts can be delivered on Saturday – before 3 p.m. if possible.

And some sad news to share:  Tiina Derry’s father, Evald Oder, died this week.  Here is the service information:  Visitation on Saturday, November 15, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at St. Peter’s Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church of Toronto, 817 Mount Pleasant Rd., Toronto.  Funeral service at 12:00 p.m. in the church. Wake following the service at The Estonian House, 958 Broadview Ave., Toronto.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Evald’s memory to Estonian Scouts and Guides in Canada – Camp Kotkajärve (c/o 52 Glengrove Avenue West, Toronto, ON M4R 1N7).  Envelopes will be available at the funeral service.  Evald  dedicated his service to scouting and this camp for over 40 years and it was near and dear to his heart.
