Our summer vacation time is drawing to a close and the children will be back at school on Tuesday! Routines will change, cottage fun will be reduced to weekends and summer vacations will be over!
We will continue to gather for worship on Sunday mornings at Central at 10:00 a.m. (with Sunday School) and do hope to see many of you return after a summer hiatus. I will also return to routine next week with weekly emailed announcements but wanted to draw your attention to a couple of items now:
1. Helen Gratsos from our congregation has two tickets for sale for Joel Osteen “A Night of Hope” on Friday, September 6th at 7:30pm at the Air Canada Centre, Toronto. If you are interested, please contact Helen directly at gratsos2002@yahoo.ca
2. As indicated in the Rally Day Newsletter, we are having a “Golf and Dine” Social on Sunday, September 15th. So that we can confirm numbers with the golf course we ask that you sign up (or send me an email) as soon as possible. Prepayment is required – cheques are payable to Mark Ono by September 10th. This promises to be a great way to have fun and fellowship with your church family so we do hope you can join us!
