News for the Week of September 28, 2014

Be sure to review all the important messages and details about church activities. This Sunday marks the kick-off for the annual Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child shoe box campaign. There will be an announcement to clarify some key points and you won’t want to miss the inspiring video clip that is sure to motivate you and get you involved. Please consider packing a shoebox or two.

Also, many of you will recall the rain last Sunday morning and then the lovely sunshine that graced us before the worship service was over. As a result, 4 jackets and 3 umbrellas were left behind! Please check the cloakroom rack next to the elevator on the sanctuary level for your belongings. Items include a navy dotted collapsible umbrella, a floral pink umbrella and a multi-coloured umbrella, an adult yellow rain jacket, a pink child’s jacket and a black men’s XL Eddie Bauer jacket. Also, we think someone may have taken the wrong jacket home! A black coat was taken by mistake from the coat rack at the front door with a ladies’ “Point Zero” size small ¾ length black coat left behind – so please check your closet and make the exchange so the rightful owners can have their own belongings.AND the folks scheduled to serve this Sunday are:

Greeters: Karen Hauth
Worship Host: Don McQuirter
Powerpoint Operator: Serag Gadelrab
Lay Worship Leader: Vida Bridgeman
Gospel Reader: Sally Sandiford

(If you find you are not able to fulfil your duties, please arrange with another church member to fill your spot.)
