FROM THE MINISTER’S DESK
John 18:37 – “Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice.“
“Truth” seems like a loosey-goosey term since postmodernism hit the scene in our world. But it’s not. As humans, it’s natural for us to interpret events according to our limited perspective, but that’s not necessarily the whole truth of something. And there are certainly many people who claim to have the whole truth, and who want us to listen to them. Jesus knows the truth, and Jesus IS the truth. None of us, while living in the flesh, will ever have complete access to the absolute truth, but by leaning into Jesus and learning to listen to His voice we become much more discerning about what is true and what is not.
