Lynne is the heart of her family and a true warrior. After being diagnosed with ALS, she has faced this devastating disease with remarkable strength, courage, and grace. Though ALS has brought unimaginable challenges, it has never diminished her fighting spirit.

A devoted member of the Unionville community for 27 years, Lynne has always believed in showing up for others, and has lived a life rooted in compassion, service, and generosity. Over the years, she has been involved with the Unionville Skating Club, the Sanfilippo Children’s Research Foundation, and Central United Church. Her faith and church community have been a constant source of strength and support throughout this journey.

Prior to diagnosis, Lynne lived an active life and was always happiest when she was on the move. Running was always one of her favourite ways to feel strong and grounded. This event is not only a fundraiser — it is a celebration of Lynne’s strength, her legacy of kindness, and the love that surrounds her. By coming together in an active way, we honour her fight and help move us closer to a world without ALS.
