Facility Rental at
Central United Church
Central United Church is pleased to open our doors to the community. We welcome rental inquiries from local non-profit organizations, community groups, and for-profit businesses whose activities and values align with our mission.
Our Expectations
For Renters
To ensure our facility remains a welcoming, safe, and well-maintained space for everyone, all groups are expected to adhere to the following guidelines:
- Values Alignment: We reserve the right to decline bookings that are inconsistent with the values of Central United Church.
- Church Priority: As a place of worship and community ministry, Church programs always take priority. In the event of urgent pastoral needs (such as a funeral), we will work with you to accommodate or reschedule as necessary.
- Respect for the Space: We ask that you leave the premises in the same clean, organized condition in which you found them, including returning furniture to its original location.
- Substance Policy: The use of alcohol or cannabis on church property is prohibited, unless specifically authorized in advance by the Congregational Council.
Administrative
Requirements
To finalize a rental agreement, all groups must satisfy the following requirements in advance of their event:
- Insurance: A Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming Central United Church as an “additional insured” must be provided prior to the rental date
- Payment: All rental fees must be paid in advance via e-transfer or cheque.
