FROM THE MINISTER’S DESK
This Sunday our guest minister will be Bev Foster. Bev is a passionate musician and educator with a deep commitment to nurturing others through music. She holds music degrees from the University of Toronto and the Royal Conservatory, and has worked in the public school system and her own private studio. Currently, Bev serves as the Founder and Executive Director of the Room 217 Foundation, where she champions the role of music in healthcare, bringing comfort, connection, and meaning to those who need it most. Her personal faith journey has also found expression through songwriting and recording. She has released four albums of original music – Trustpoints, Deeply Loved, Hope Seeds, and Grace Received. Each one offers a glimpse into her story of following Jesus. To learn more, visit bevfoster.com.
SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP 10:00 A.M.
Central United Church welcomes you to join our Worship Service Sunday mornings at 10:00 am. In worship we proclaim our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour; God’s word is read and preached, sacraments celebrated, faith sung and prayers offered.
Sunday services are also livestreamed (and recorded) through the Church website or you can join here. A copy of the bulletin for this Sunday’s Service is attached here.
This Sunday’s Scripture readings are Matthew 21:1-11 and Psalm 118:1-2, 19-29. You can also find a daily scripture message at the top of our website.
PRAYER SUMMIT
Thursday, March 26th at 7:00 – 8:30 pm

2026 LENTEN PROJECT
Canadian Bible Society
This year your Outreach Committee has chosen the Canadian Bible Society as its 2026 Lenten project. The Canadian Bible Society is committed to helping people hear God speak in Canada and across the world. Its core mandates are translation, publication, distribution, and engagement, encouraging the use of God’s word for personal and community transformation. Click here to watch this brief video for details of the work of the Canadian Bible Society.
We’re nearing the end of Lent! To offer your financial support, financial donations will be accepted up to and including Easter Sunday. If you wish to donate, you can either drop off your donation at the Church or mail to the church, simply mark your envelope “Canadian Bible Society”. Cheques should be made payable to Central United Church. Our traditional “coin drop” is also available in the narthex – just deposit your change through the pipe. You may also donate by e-transfer to: finance@centralunitedchurch.com. Please include a note indicating that it is for the Lenten Project.
