Giving From The Heart

Dear Church Family:

“Giving from the Heart” – Growing in Christ through Generosity

We have successfully kicked-off our Stewardship Initiative, Giving from the Heart.

Giving from the heart is the recognition that our Time, Talent, and Treasure are gifts entrusted to us by God. When we share them, we aren’t just “paying the bills” or “contributing for the sake of contributing”—we are participating in the very life of God. Our stewardship initiative presents each of us with an opportunity to grow in our Faith and to further focus on our Mission – “To Grow In Christ and help others grow with us.

In the coming weeks, we will be hearing stories of how spiritual gifting has changed lives in our midst, learn what it means to give from the heart and gather in small groups to remind ourselves of Central’s mission and the impact of generosity. By May 31, we are asking that each family make a heartfelt 3 year pledge to the Church of their Time, Talent and Treasure and in so doing, sharing with the Church your gifts from God.

To access your Pledge form click here. The Pledge Initiative Q&A document can be viewed by clicking here. We ask that you do not complete your pledge forms right away but rather, take some time to think and pray about your pledge and participate in a small group gathering to learn about how your pledge of time, talent and treasure can be shared with God through your Church and help you to grow in your Faith.

How do I sign up for a Small Group Gathering?

  • Please click here to sign up for a small group gathering, or, alternatively, sign-up sheets will be available at the Church on Sunday. We encourage everyone to participate in a small group gathering in the coming weeks.

How and when do I submit my pledge?

  • Complete the pledge form and submit it as requested by May 31. The forms can be mailed to Sally Sandiford, our Offering Steward, in care of the Church, or dropped off in the confidential collection box that will be available at the Church. If you require a different approach, please contact someone from the Committee.

We thank you in advance for your participation in this very important initiative. If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact any member of the Stewardship Steering Committee.

With peace and gratitude,

The Stewardship Steering Committee
