Have you ever been asked to do something and felt totally overwhelmed and “un-equipped” for the task? Many people say that they felt this way the first time they became parents. Has there ever been a time when you found yourself in a situation and had no idea what to say, or what to do?
This Sunday, we’ll be exploring how the disciples must have felt when Jesus sent them out to do the work of the Kingdom in His name. How would you have felt?

Central United Church welcomes you to join our Worship Service Sunday mornings at 10:00 am. In worship we proclaim our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour; God’s word is read and preached, sacraments celebrated, faith sung and prayers offered.
Sunday services are also livestreamed (and recorded) through the Church website or you can join here. A copy of the bulletin for this Sunday’s Service is attached here. This Sunday we will be celebrating the Sacrament of Holy Communion.

Diabetes Prevention & Healthy Living

Join us for an informative community health talk on Diabetes Prevention & Healthy Living presented by family physicians Dr. Jing Cao and Dr. Bryan Fong. Learn practical strategies to help prevent diabetes, manage blood sugar, reduce the risk of long-term complications, and build healthier daily habits for yourself and your family.
Topics will include nutrition, exercise, weight management, stress, sleep, home monitoring, and common myths about diabetes. This educational session is designed for adults of all ages and backgrounds in our community. Questions and discussion are welcome.

Children’s Church
Sundays, July 12th – August 30th
Beginning Sunday, July 12th, children will enjoy a fun and engaging summer program called Island in the Son during the service. Through Bible stories, music, games, crafts, and exciting beach-themed activities, kids will discover the warmth of God’s love.
Designed for children from JK to Grade 5, this joyful Sunday program at 10:00 am helps children grow in faith, friendship, and love while exploring the message of 1 Corinthians 13 in a safe and welcoming environment.

5K Run/Walk for Lynn
Saturday, July 18th 8:00am
Join us for our very first 5K run/walk on Saturday, July 18, in support of groundbreaking research at Sunnybrook’s Brain Sciences Centre aimed at helping eliminate ALS. This special event brings the community together to raise awareness, fund critical research, and move us closer to finding a cure for ALS. Learn more here.
