FROM THE MINISTER’S DESK
“There’s no place like home!” I had a very relaxing vacation and a productive study week, but it sure is good to be back at the church, catching up with people and preparing for the Big Race this Saturday! Registration is open until 12 noon today! If you miss that deadline, you can still register in person…feel free to email me to ask about that. You can also still register to volunteer on Saturday morning, or you can sponsor a runner (like me!) or make a general donation to Sunnybrook in support of our race through the race registration page.
On Sunday, we begin our “All Request Sermon Series.” Thanks for all of your great suggestions and requests! This week we’ll reflect on Romans 5:1-11 in response to the question: Why do some people have to endure so much suffering? I hope we’ll see you there!
STAY CONNECTED…..
We want to help you stay connected so if you happen to be wondering “who’s doing what” in terms of duties, the list for this week is below….
July 19th 2026

SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP 10:00 A.M.
Central United Church welcomes you to join our Worship Service Sunday mornings at 10:00 am. In worship we proclaim our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour; God’s word is read and preached, sacraments celebrated, faith sung and prayers offered.
Sunday services are also livestreamed (and recorded) through the Church website or you can join here. A copy of the bulletin for this Sunday’s Service is attached here.
This Sunday’s Scripture readings are Romans 5:1-11 and Psalm 103:1-19. You can also find a daily scripture message at the top of our website.
